Because our offerings are experiential travel services rather than tangible goods, traditional physical returns do not apply. This policy outlines our cancellation and refund framework.

Cancellation Policy (By Guest)

Suggested text: If a guest decides to cancel a confirmed tour booking, written cancellation notice must be submitted via email to sundarban@royalbengaltourism.com / sundarbansroyalbengaltourism@gmail.com or via WhatsApp to our official support numbers. The following cancellation fee schedule applies:

• 15 or more days before tour departure date: 10% administrative processing fee deducted; 90% refund of total tour package amount.
• 7 to 14 days before tour departure date: 50% refund of the total tour package cost.
• Less than 7 days before tour departure date: Strictly no refund (100% cancellation fee).
• No-Show on Departure Date: Strictly no refund under any circumstances.

Non-Refundable Expenditures

Suggested text: Government statutory forest permit fees, authorized guide fees, and non-refundable room deposits already remitted to local forest resorts or authorities are strictly non-refundable once paid, regardless of when the cancellation notice is received.

Cancellations by Tour Operator (Adverse Weather / Force Majeure)

Suggested text: If Sundarban Royal Bengal Tourism is forced to cancel an upcoming trip due to extreme weather warnings (e.g. cyclone, storm, depression alerts by IMD), tidal restrictions, river blockages, or government-mandated closures, guests will be provided with:

• An open credit voucher to reschedule the tour to any available future date without extra penalty, OR
• A full refund of the package cost, deducting only the direct government forest permit fees already incurred.

Refund Processing Time and Method

Suggested text: Once a refund request is approved, the funds will be credited back to the original source payment method (bank account, credit/debit card, or UPI) within 5 to 7 business days as per standard banking and payment gateway turnaround cycles.
