The first day’s journey to the world’s biggest mangrove forest will begin after we pick you up from your desired location mentioned above. Meet and greet by our representative at Godkhali boat jetty. (the last Destination point by car )

Drop Hotel Sonar Bangla Sundarban
4.00 P.M.: we’ll be heading towards our evening Boat in the evening and enjoy the sunset from different places of Sundarban Mangrove Forest. will enjoy tea with sunset.
6.30 P.M.: You can enjoy local Tribal dance to be performed by the villagers. You can also rejuvenate yourself at the spa of the resort. (Extra Charges)
8.30 P.M.: Dinner at restaurant. Overnight at Hotel Sonar Bangla .
2nd Day
6 A.M.: Wakeup call. Breath fresh on this beautiful morning and get ready for a thrilling Boat safari.
7.30 A.M.: Enjoy buffet breakfast at our Resort/ on Boat.
8.30 A.M.: Assistance to board the boat. Departure for Sajnekhali Tiger Project complex to view Wildlife from watch tower. Visit Sajnekhali Tourism Complex and then proceed to explore the mangrove via narrow creeks and canals. We will start our thrilling boat Safari through various rivers, Islands & small Creeks covering Pirkhali, Banbibi Varani, Sundarkhali, Choragaji, Deualvarani, SarakKhali 1 or 2, Gazikhali, In this Tiger Reserve area for our share of viewing animals like spotted deer, crocodile, wild Boar, snakes, water monitor lizard, different types of birds and also Royal Bengal Tiger. Enrooted enjoy Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower for an exciting view of the forest. Today you will visit Dobanki Watch Tower where you will walk through the Canopy inside the forest camp. You can experience the caged animals along the way of the canopy with the view of the forest surrounded. Here the Spotted Deer are kept under Rehabilitation Centre. Your cruise will continue through Matla – Sea Face (viewpoint of Bay of Bengal) – crossing through the 5-river junction point with huge water body all around. A fun filled Boat through the creeks of Sundarban Tiger Project Area will be your lifetime experience. ( if you are lucky).Lunch will be served on the boat with hygiene maintain
4.30 A.M.: Arrival at Godkhali and proceed to Kolkata hotel/railway station/airport.(approx. 3 hrs drive)

HOW WE CAN TRAVEL SUNDARBAN FROM KOLKATA?
If you are arriving by flight for your Sundarban tour, then we will pick you from Netaji Subhas Bose International Airport (CCU) – which is the nearest airport from Sundarban (110 km). From there we will travel by road with your pre booked car and within 2hrs we will reach Godkhali, the hub to start your Sundarban Package Tour.
If you want to reach sundarban by train, then you have to opt our Sundarban Tour from Canning. First you have to reach Canning Station which is in the South Division of the Sealdah Train Service. On every hour interval, the Canning Local departs from Sealdah Station and takes almost 1 hour and 15 minutes to cover 45 km journey to Canning. In between this train journey you will cover 18 stations. The journey is very scenic and comfortable if you catch early morning train and get a window seat. From Canning, your Sundarban Tour will start. The stations you will cover during Sundarban Package Tour from Canning are as following :

BY ROAD :
By road also, you can reach Sundarban. This is the most convenient way to travel Sundarban from Kolkata. There are two different road ways that you choose for your Sundarban Tour. They are:
Road 1 : Via Baruipur – Canning Road [2 hr 59 min / 82.9 km]
Road 2 : Via Basanti Highway [3 hr 13 min / 86 km]
By Roadway: Visiting Sunderbans by roadway will enrich you with a pleasant long drive with many panoramic picturesque views. Though you can’t complete your full journey by road as you need to have both road and waterways for your Sundarban tour with hotel Sonar Bangla. There are two main ways to visit Sundarban via road, one, the Basanti State expressway and another Baruipur-canning highway. In terms of your safety and comfort, the Basanti expressway will be the best to pick. You need to travel to Godkhali, the famous ferry ghat to reach Sundarbans which will take 2.5 hours and you can park your car here with a parking facility of Rs.100 per day. On the way to your journey, you can have some tea or snacks by the roadside.
